Back at the beginning of the 1980s, Philippe Cast\u00e9ja learned the ropes of the wine business in the family wine estates on Bordeaux\u2019s right bank, mostly at Ch\u00e2teau Trottevieille, a Saint-\u00c9milion 1st Classified Growth, as well as at Ch\u00e2teau Bergat, a Saint-\u00c9milion Classified Growth and at Ch\u00e2teau du Domaine de l\u2019\u00c9glise in Pomerol. In 2001, he took over the overall running of the Cast\u00e9ja family wine estates, including Ch\u00e2teau Lynch-Moussas. He ensures that the estate is performing to its high standards and that wine quality is high, while also managing the sale of the wines. At Ch\u00e2teau Lynch-Moussas, the team is made up of around twenty staff. Among them is Didier Chadourne, who has been technical manager of the estate since 2013. He manages the whole of the 180 hectares of the family\u2019s vineyards in the M\u00e9doc, as well as forests belonging to the family. In 2022, Olivier Gourdin joined the team. Olivier Gourdin manages the cultivation of the vineyard. Since March 2023, Hugues Mathieu, cellarmaster, joined also the team. The Ch\u00e2teau calls on the services of consultant \u0153nologists for the different stages of the Ch\u00e2teau\u2019s wine production, from the pruning of the vines to the blending of the wines.<\/p>\n

Val\u00e9rie Lavigne, a doctor in \u0153nology, and also a lecturer and researcher at Bordeaux University\u2019s Faculty of \u0152nology and a teacher at the CIVB, has consulted at Ch\u00e2teau Lynch-Moussas and at other estates in the group for around fifteen years.<\/p>\n

Thierry Ruban, arrived in 1994, Administrative Manager of estates within the group, manages the accounting, human resources, events and visits, dry matter and wine stocks.<\/span><\/p>\n
