They are powerful with good backbone thanks particularly to the blend, in which Cabernet Sauvignon makes up the largest part. The resulting tannic structure provides these wines with amazing ageing potential. The combination with Merlot brings Pauillac wines roundness and fruit character. After a period of ageing, these wines develop a bouquet of great complexity.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_height=”yes” columns_placement=”stretch” equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle” el_id=”section-3″ el_class=”vc_row_article vc_row_zindex”][vc_column] The First Wine, which is an appellation contrôlée Pauillac and was ranked as a Classified Growth in 1855, is renowned for its power and ageing potential. It displays an attractive, deep, dark, ruby colour, while the nose is complex with red berry and black fruit aromas, such as blackberry and blackcurrant. Rich, round and with great density, the palate has a full, velvety mouth-feel with ripe tannins, followed by a delicious lingering, slightly spicy finish.
