For the 2020 vintage, Château Lynch-Moussas will keep its engraved bottle made on the occasion of the 100 years of acquisition by the Castéja family (1919-2019), and will regain its original label.

| James Suckling | 94-95 | This is a very structured red with lots of blackberry, currant, walnut and graphite. Full-bodied and long. Nice chewiness. 72% cabernet sauvignon, the rest merlot.

| Bernard Burtschy | 95-96 | La robe est noire avec des arômes superbes de réglisse et d’épices. Le vin est souple avec un très beau milieu de bouche, légèrement boisé, inhabituellement charmeur, en fin de bouche le cabernet est bien là, mais avec un peu de fantaisie, finale splendide très café. Ce Lynch-Moussas, dense et serré, est le plus grand de tous les temps.

Medium/full-bodied, refined, crisp and juicy, with round tannins, concentration and a firm, fresh, bite of Cabernet Sauvignon and tobacco leaf on the palate that stays with you through the savory finish. Give this 7-8 years in the cellar and enjoy it over the following 2 decades with pleasure.

Sophisticated nose with fragrant aroma reminiscent of mulberries, blackberries and blackcurrants, hints of blackcurrants purs and cocoa in the background. On the palate well structured with flavourful character and freshness, ripe and velvety tannins, excellent length.

| Terre de Vins | 96 | On retient l’incroyable gourmandise à l’attaque, portée par un velouté savoureux. Le nez subtil livre par petites touches gentiane, cuir, pruneau et tabac. Au palais, les tanins intégrés forment un ensemble harmonieux autour d’une texture riche et enlevée. Équilibre réussi entre densité et élégance. Très prometteur.

| Revue du Vin de France | 92-94 | Voilà l’une des meilleures expressions du cru qui brille par sa belle densité et sa précision. Un pauillac séduisant et étiré, avec une finale qui se prolonge élégamment.
